3D Content Creation for Games

This module will provide students with the opportunity to design, create, and texture 3D models for use within computer games or other real time applications, such as Virtual Reality.

Students will employ professional skills used in a typical computer game development studio during the design and construction of fully textured 3D content.

Lectures will be used to explain the principles behind 3D modelling and texturing for games including the design processes used within today's computer game development teams.

Students will use industry standard modelling software and hardware within a studio environment reflecting that of industry.

The method of assessment is by In-course Assessment.
