This module will investigate the issues and technologies associated with enterprise level web applications within the corporate domain.
The module will look at business approaches, modelling techniques and systems architectures within a number of case studies. A detailed investigation will be undertaken in a number of areas, including integrating legacy systems, portal technologies and service oriented architectures.
The practical development issues associated with integrating legacy systems and the issues associated with web server administration will be explored.
A detailed investigation of a large corporation's web requirements will be undertaken during the course of the module.
