This module looks at mobile technologies and devices and their uses in a number of different application fields.
Within the module the technologies, standards, devices, design and user considerations for mobile applications are examined. A number of application case studies will be drawn from the fields of games, entertainment, education, commerce and life-style to clearly illustrate these topics.
A significant section of the module will be devoted to design issues, enabling students to develop experience in considering the design and user requirements for mobile applications.
