Give me travel directions to the University of Teesside.
These events provide an opportunity for potential students, (principally undergraduates) to visit the University, including the School of Computing. Visitors will be able to look around the University campus, visit student accommodation and find out about student finance and student support services in general. The School of Computing will also be open so visitors are able to find out about our courses and computing facilities. A programme of undergraduate course presentations will take place throughout the day and subject specialists will be available to talk to students individually.
If you're interested in postgraduate study, come along to one of our Postgraduate Open Days. You can get information and advice on our postgraduate courses and you will have an opportunity to look around our excellent facilities. These include 2 new buildings housing some of the best environments in the country for students in both creative and technical computing disciplines.
During the Open Day you will have an opportunity to look at the excellent computing facilities our students use and to chat to subject specialists, who will be able to provide further information about courses and offer advice to potential students. You can also get advice from the University's Careers Service, information on our generous bursaries, tour the campus and attend presentations.
Open Days are 10.00am-2.00pm and 4.00pm-7.00pm on

These Open Days provide an opportunity for students who are thinking of studying part-time to visit the School to find out more about the course(s) that we have to offer and look at the excellent computing facilities that are available to our students. Subject specialists will be available to provide further information about courses and offer advice to potential students.
If you decide that you would like to attend a course you will be able to enrol at this event.
We have a range of part-time courses at all levels, including the University Certificate in Professional Development, HNC/D Computing, Undergraduate Degree programmes, and Postgraduate taught and research degrees.
These events all run from 12 noon to 7pm.
Applicant Visit Days provide an opportunity for students who have already applied through UCAS to visit the School to find out more about the course(s) for which they have applied. If you are thinking of applying for one of our courses, you are also welcome to attend.
The Visit Day programme includes a tour of the School's excellent computing facilities, course specific presentations and an opportunity to talk to subject specialists. A tour of the University campus and presentations on Student Support/Accommodation are also included.
Applicant Visit Days start at 1.30pm and finish at 4.15pm.
If you have already applied for one of our courses, you will automatically receive an invitation to attend one of our Visit Days. If you have not yet applied you can book on-line via the University web site.

Why not come along to one of our Find Out More Days to see some of the most up-to-date facilities available in UK higher education? Everyone is welcome - those wanting to study for pleasure, anyone wanting to gain skills and qualifications to take steps into employment, and people in employment who are seeking professional development skills.
These events provide an opportunity for Year 12 & 13 students to visit the School and take part in workshops covering all aspects of computing, multimedia, animation and games. Discovery Days are ideal for students who are interested in studying computing but are unsure what specific area they would like to concentrate on.
Discovery Days are challenging and fun but they will require students to participate! Workshops last for about 2 hours.

These lectures are designed to motivate students and to introduce them to the options available across a range of University subject areas.
One of our Masterclasses will provide detailed subject activities for gifted and talented Year 10 pupils, whilst complementing their GCSE studies.
A masterclass giving Gifted and Talented Year 12 students a taste of the cutting edge thought and research that they can expect from Higher Education, whilst enhancing their AS level studies.
These events are aimed at those with responsibility for guiding and advising students. You can tour the campus, view accommodation, meet current students, discuss study opportunities with staff and attend special sessions on student finance, accommodation and graduate careers.
